At what age can I drive the Microlino Lite and which driver's license is required?

Switzerland: from the age of 18

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Switzerland by anyone aged 18 or over who has an F driving license. The F license category is also included in the A1, A restricted, A, B1 and B license categories. The minimum age is always 18 years.

Belgium: from the age of 16

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Belgium from the age of 16. A driver's license is not required if you were born before February 15, 1961. If you were born after February 15, 1961, an AM driving license or a B driving license is required.


France: from the age of 14

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in France from the age of 14. A category AM, A1, B1 or B driving license is required. If you were born before January 1, 1988, no driving license is required.

Germany: from the age of 15

  • In Germany, an L6e vehicle may be driven by anyone aged 15 or over who has an AM driver's license.


Greece: from the age of 16

  • In Greece, an L6e vehicle may be driven by anyone aged 16 or over who has an AM driver's license.

Italy: from the age of 14

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Italy by anyone aged 14 or over who has an AM, B1 or B driving license.


Luxembourg: from the age of 16

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Luxembourg by anyone aged 16 or over who has an AM or B driving license.

Netherlands: from the age of 16

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in the Netherlands by anyone over the age of 16 who has an AM driver's license.


Spain: from 15 years of age

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Spain by anyone aged 15 or over who has an AM driver's license.

UK: from the age of 16

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in the UK by anyone aged 16 or over who has an AM driver's license.

Portugal: from the age of 16

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Portugal by anyone aged 16 or over who has an AM driver's license.

Sweden: from the age of 15

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Sweden by anyone aged 15 or over who has an AM driver's license.

Norway: from the age of 16

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Norway by anyone aged 16 or over who has an AM driver's license

Denmark: from the age of 18

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Denmark by anyone aged 16 or over who has an AM driver's license

Austria: from the age of 15

  • An L6e vehicle may be driven in Austria by anyone aged 15 or over who has an AM driver's license

Romania: from the age of 16

  • An L6e and L7e vehicle may be driven in Romania by anyone aged 16 or over who has an AM and/or B1 driver's license
