World Premiere of the Microlino Lite
February 26, 2024: At the Geneva International Motor Show 2024, we were excited to unveil our latest innovation! It was an unforgettable experience to share our passion for sustainable mobility and see the reactions of visitors up close.
Under the motto "Auto.Future.Now", the Geneva Motor Show opened its doors to a fascinating world of the future, in which every model and every technology reignited the passion for innovation and design. Over 20 of the world's leading automotive brands unveiled their latest masterpieces, pushing the boundaries of the imaginable.

Everything you need to know about the Microlino Lite
The Lite model has the same steel body as its big brother, is 2.5 m long, 1.47 m wide and 1.5 m high and weighs less than 600 kg. With a power output of 6 kW (9 kW top power), it is classified as an L6e vehicle, which means that anyone with a class AM moped license can ride it in most European countries.
With the 5.5 kWh basic battery, it can travel around 100 km before the Microlino needs to be recharged. If you opt for the larger 11 kWh battery pack, you can even drive up to 177 km. The 5.5 kWh battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in around two hours using a 2.2 kW type 2 charger, while the more powerful 11 kWh battery takes around four hours. The two-seater subcompact is also equipped with a sunroof and a surprisingly spacious 230-liter trunk.

In early summer 2024, Micro will start selling the Microlino Lite at an attractive entry-level price of CHF 149/month. With a top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph), it is only half as fast as the normal Microlino, but can be ridden in some European countries by anyone with a moped license aged 14 or over.

We not only captivated the visitors with our innovation, but also Albert Rösti, Swiss Federal Councillor, was an enthusiastic fan of the Microlino and did not miss the opportunity to take a seat in the vehicle. As the head of the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications, his interest and enthusiasm for the Microlino's charm was great.
